About Dr. Theodorou
Hello! I’m Dr. Joanna Theodorou, a board-certified pediatric dentist passionate about creating positive dental experiences for children. I was born in Montreal, QC, Canada, and grew up in sunny South Florida, just minutes away from our practice!
I am a board certified pediatric dentist and active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry [AAPD]. I attended college at Nova Southeastern University [NSU] where I was a student athlete and received my bachelors of science degree in biology with a minor in business administration.
After college, I continued my education at NSU and received my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, receiving honors in pediatric dentistry and patients with special needs, as well as awards in oral medicine and pediatric dentistry.
I enjoyed my time at NSU so very much that I stayed on and completed my residency in pediatric dentistry. During residency, I worked at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital where I currently continue to have hospital privileges.
When not providing care to my wonderful patients, I enjoy spending time with my family [including my fur baby, Cindy], boating, and jamming out to music! I look forward to welcoming you to our amazing practice!

I genuinely love working with, and treating children. Nothing makes me happier than a child having a positive visit at the dentist. I love engaging with patients as well as their parents and educating them in all things oral health!
I strive to make sure children feel comfortable and safe while providing a high level of personalized dental care. I am extremely passionate, upbeat, and outgoing and bring that everyday when engaging with patients.
